Scoop Rainbowcy Outtakes | Farewell, Raspberry. The first child and daughter of Generation 1’s Marzipan Scoop and Flamingo Rose Heart!
Saturday, November 8, 2014
Dearest Diary,
Today my Raspberry graduated! The whole family came out to the Aelview City Hall to see her class receive their diplomas. Our eldest Scoop was even awarded Valedictorian, as well as ‘Most Artistic’ by her classmates. Sweetness, we’re so proud!
But, Raspberry getting her diploma wasn’t the only big news of the day…
Dearest Diary,
Today my eldest sweet, Raspberry, becomes a young woman. Flamingo Rose and I can scarcely believe our eyes. If not for our own creaky bones, we’d swear we were in a dream.
She’s told us she’s not staying… as soon as her graduation ceremony is over tomorrow, she’ll be moving out. Thankfully she’s staying in Aelview so we can keep an eye on her. It just so happens the new concert park has opened for business, so she’s going to try for a performance job there! We wish her the best of luck.
Amaranth is most sad to see her go…
Yours with extra frosting,
Marzipan Scoop
"Amaranth? It’s my birthday tomorrow and after that, graduation. I wanted to give you something before I left."
"Ras…"
"No, please. You were always my favourite, little brother."
"You won’t be staying?"
"No. Gardening is your thing, not mine. I wouldn’t know what to do with this house after Mum and Dad passed."
"What do you want to do?"
"I don’t know. Maybe something in showbusiness? I’ve always loved performing."

Dearest Diary,
My eldest sweet Raspberry is having a tough time. Her beau, Robin Marine, is sending her all kinds of mixed signals. The poor sweet doesn’t quite know what to do with all her feelings, so I suggested she start painting.
Flamingo Rose and I got her an easel and set it up on the second-floor landing. She’s been up there with a brush in hand every afternoon.
With Amaranth and Gala around all the time exchanging googly eyes, I don’t blame her. It makes her think of Robin and what she’d love them both to be.
With sugar on top,
Marzipan Scoop
"Thank you for a great date, Raspberry."
"I had fun, too."
"I want you to know how much I like you. I mean, I really do… it’s just that it’s important for me to get on the honour roll. I want, no NEED, to get into the military. Just like dad."
"I understand, Robin… I just wish we could see each other more often."
"Maybe after graduation… if you can wait for me until then."
Dearest Diary,
Flamingo Rose joined me in the Elder’s Club this afternoon. Having just been freshly promoted as Head of the English Department at the High School, he walked through the door to find his entire family waiting with a birthday cake.
"Oh, no… can we just NOT have my birthday?" he groaned. He wasn’t looking forward to becoming an old man.
After he’d aged up, I told him it was finally his turn to have white hair, too.
Old together,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
It’s such a joy to see Amaranth getting better and better at chess. He’s also teaching the kids. Sweet Pea especially loves it and can even beat her dad sometimes!
Yes, Flamingo got the job at the High School. I’m so proud - I knew he could do it! He also has the chance to be Head of Department if he’s willing to work for it.
It’s not so bad pulling weeds when family’s close by.
With love,
Marzipan Scoop

Dearest Diary,
Even though I’m an elder now, I’m trying to keep up with my old self. There’s still so much to see and do in our little town of Aelview, and I want to explore it all before my time is up.
I’ve taken it upon myself to collect as many seeds as I can find around the place and begin planting. Hopefully whichever of my sweets takes over house has a better start than I did in my little white box.
Busy planting day and night,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
It was the triplet’s first day of school today. It was also raining! Still, I made it my goal to see them off.
"But what if I don’t do well?" worried Sweet Pea.
"You’ll do excellently, sweets," I told her. "I know you’re very smart!"
Raspberry told me later that she worried all the way on the bus, too.
As for Flamingo, he’s been asked to improve his chess and logic skills as there’s an opening for a High School Teacher at Raspberry, Amaranth’s and Apple Blossom’s school. I just know he can do it!
Yours in rainy weather,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
My black sheep, Apple Blossom, had her birthday today. She insisted she didn’t want a party or a cake.
"I just want Holly Sherbet and Gala."
Not even Flamingo Rose or myself!
Well, if anything, now that she’s a teenager, she’s going to be even more rebellious!
She rolled the ‘Brave’ trait, too! It runs in the family.
Dearest Diary,
It was my birthday today… there’s not really much to say other than SWEETNESS, I FEEL OLD. Still, it was a lovely day and I was surrounded by family.
Flamingo assures me that I’m still beautiful. After all, I’ve always had white hair!
Not (too) old,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
What a whirlwind week it’s been… but after an exhausting ride, I can finally tell you that Gala and Amaranth are finally a couple. Apparantly all it took was for Amaranth to finally confess his feelings towards Gala. Sweetness, teenage boys…
Flamingo Rose heard from his sister, Cotton, that Kendrick isn’t taking his breakup with Gala too well. I guess my poor Amaranth is going to have to look out for his cousin from now on!
Completely burnt out,
Marzipan Scoop
"So have you got a date to prom yet, Gala? I’m hoping Robin Marine will ask me… but he says he’s got to focus on his grades if he wants to get into the military."
"Robin’s a nice guy, I’m sure he means well! As for me? I’m going with Kendrick. Kendrick Cobbler. We’ve been seeing each other for a few weeks now!"
Later…
“Amaranth, it’s Raspberry. Gala’s boyfriend is Kendrick Cobbler. OUR COUSIN, Kendrick Cobbler!”
"What!"

Dearest Diary,
My kitten, Stark, is now an elder. I can’t believe how quickly it’s happened! It seems like just yesterday I met him out on the front yard of my little white box house… just the two of us.
Everyone celebrated. After all, he’s been here since before any of the sweets were born and they’ve all grown up with him alongside them! Even Amaranth’s friend, Gala, was there. Stark was certainly spoiled.
The cat condo the sweets bought him is fantastic. I just know it’s going to bring him so much joy in his later years!
Getting older, too,
Marzipan Scoop
"How do you like it? We all pitched in! We know you’ve wanted your own cat condo for ages now! Happy Birthday!"
"MEOW!"
"Meow… Meow… MEOOOW!"
"Oh, Stark!" groaned Raspberry. "I’ll be up in a minute."
"STARK!" squealed Apple Blossom. "I’m awake! I didn’t forget it was your birthday today. Come with me, we can play until the others get up. And then you can have your present!"
Wednesday, November 5, 2014
"If we all pool our weekly allowances together, I think we can afford that present for Stark…"
Dearest Diary,
Well, I’m not sure just how successful the sweets trick or treating went… but Apple Blossom did come home with one piece of candy in an otherwise empty trick or treat basket.
"Look, Mum! The kind man up the road gave me some popping candy! I’m SO happy! I LOVE SPOOKY DAY!"
Amaranth and Raspberry were just pleased that Apple Blossom was pleased.
Taking a leaf out of Apple Blossom’s book and appreciating the small things,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
It’s Spooky Day today and my own little misfit, Apple Blossom, has been so excited. Her costume has been ready for days and as soon as the sun came up, she was in it. After a breafkast of Brain Freeze ala Mode, she was off on Raspberry’s old bicycle to trick or treat!
"Mum, nobody answered…" she said disheartened when she got home. "And Amaranth is out with Gala and Raspberry’s busy. I’m bored!"
"Well you can go again this evening, sweetness! And Amaranth and Raspberry will both go with you. I know they have costumes ready."
A few hours later, Amaranth came home with a pie-covered face. Apparantly he and Gala had been at the Fall Festival. He was just in time to greet a neighbourhood hotdog for treats.
"I’ll take Apple Blossom out," he said.
Spooky Day fun,
Marzipan Scoop
Scoop Rainbowcy Outtakes | Looking after triplets is hard! As soon as you put one down to bed, another wants to be fed and another wants to go potty! Luckily, Amaranth Rose doesn’t mind helping out.
Dearest Diary,
If I don’t have enough to worry about with Raspberry and her whirlwind romance with would-be-babysitter Robin Marine, I found out that Amaranth Rose may have a love of his own.
"We’re just friends, Mum. Gala Crisp and I have been friends since the beginning of this semester. She moved in with her mum to Dad and Aunt Cotton’s old place. Besides, I think she has a boyfriend already…"
Ah, teenage romance. I don’t miss experience it first hand!
Thankful,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
Today was another productive day. With winter coming, I thought it might be a good idea to plant some seeds indoors - that way we can harvest them even when the frost sets in. To start off, I planted a Ghost Chili I found when out exploring.
The triplets are doing well and becoming more sociable as they grow. They are inseperable, however. I just know all three sweets are going to be close their whole lives!
As for Flamingo, he came home early from work to spend time with them. Both Watermelon and Sweet Pea finally got the hang of toddling on two feet and learned to walk!
Time is going so quickly,
Marzipan Scoop
"Raspberry… what are you doing still home? It’s a school day."
"I’m not going, Mum. I’m perfectly fine staying here. In this bed. In my pyjamas."
"Why? Are you sick?"
"No… it’s just…"
"Well if you don’t have a good reason, please get up and get dressed and get to school this instant! You don’t want to lose your place on the honour roll, especially this close to graduation!"
"Honour roll! HONOUR ROLL! Why is everything about the honour roll? Robin is just the same!"
"Robin Marine? Did your date not go well last night?"
"I don’t want to talk about it!"
Dearest Diary,
Well, guess what? Someone snapped up Robin for the babysitting job before I could even hire him… but not to worry, he’s over at our house anyway - he and Raspberry are going out together on their first date.
"Mum, don’t embarrass me," she said. "Same goes to you, Dad. Don’t bore him with your lectures about going green or recycling… please."
"We just want to meet him," I told her.
"You already have!"
"As a potential babysitter, not a boyfriend!"
"Don’t use the ‘b’ word, Mum!" Raspberry exclaimed. "It’s just a date! One date!"
But I knew she wanted it to be more! She hasn’t stopped talking about him since he was here last weekend. Oh, to be young again…
Being THAT parent,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
It’s mid-autumn! I decided to plant a few more seedlings (including the special seed I got from Flamingo which turned out to be a Death Flower!) and hope that they begin to grow before winter rolls around. The garden is looking beautiful and we’re really starting to bring in a profit.
My goal is to grow 8 PERFECT PLANTS before my time here is up - and guess what, I’m almost there!
Yours in gardening,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
I think Raspberry Sweet’s been hit by Cupid’s arrow! Sweetness, I was interviewing potential babysitters today and a lovely young man by the name of Robin Marine showed up. He also happens to be in Raspberry’s grade at school.
As soon as he left, Raspberry smooched poor Stark on the lips and said, “Stark, I can’t believe Robin Marine was in our house!”
She happened to totally forget the fact that she’d been in her nightie the whole time! But the question remains - should I give him the job?
Confused,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
The little sweets are on the move! Crawling everywhere ALL THE TIME. It’s so tough looking after them and trying to keep track of who is where when Flamingo is at work and the older kids are at school. Still, what’s a Scoop to do?
Still, Flamingo Rose knows how to cheer me up when I’m getting too stressed! He found a rare seed on his way home from work and thought it might have a place in our garden! I’m so excited to plant it and see what grows!
Yours in sugar,
Marzipan Scoop

Dearest Diary,
Flamingo Rose still has a few days left of unpaid leave from work since the triplets were born, and he’s certainly not wasting it!
While I toil outside in the garden, Flamingo is taking care of cooking, cleaning and looking after the little ones. Even Raspberry and Amaranth are helping out - and not even complaining about all the organic food being pumped out of the kitchen!
Thankful,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
Our chickens finally had chicks! Oh, sweetness, I can’t tell you how cute they are! I played with them from early afternoon until the late evening. Flamingo kept calling me to come inside, but I just couldn’t leave the dear little things!
Our new home couldn’t be happier!
Fluffy chicks for all,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
The triplets are loving their new playpen. They are learning faster than ever before!
Raspberry is having trouble picking out which triplet is which, and I don’t blame her. I guess trying to pick which pink head is which when picking them up from the pen can be difficult when you’re not their mother!
Laughing always,
Marzipan Scoop
"Why did we have to move, mummy?" said Apple Blossom. I have to admit, I was surprised by the question. She’d been raving about the new house all day.
"Because it was getting small at the little white box… well, it wasn’t GETTING small, it was small!"
"And we’re all growing… more and more!"
"That’s right," I told her, smiling. "And Stark loves it, too. He has his own area now for scratching and sleeping and eating…"
"He does," Apple Blossom agreed. "Plus, Holly Sherbet and I love our new room! Even if we have to share with Raspberry!"
Dearest Diary,
It’s the end of an era. The family and I finally said goodbye to the little white box and moved on to greener pastures - a bigger lot further up the street where Flamingo and I built a new home together.
We’d had a bit of money saved up and Flamingo got a mysterious inheritance lump sum. The move was needed… the little white box was absolutley CRAMPED with the triplets as well as our other three children.
Now we all have our own space and a bigger garden.
I have a great feeling about this move. I can’t wait to make a new set of memories here.
Love,Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
Apple Blossom is definitley the odd one out when it comes to my six children. Unique to her is her white hair, also her yellow eyes. She’s also a lone wolf, preferring to play on her own or with her doll Holly Sherbet.
On rare occaisions, however, she does come to me for a bedtime story or a private little chat. She definitley prefers me over Flamingo Rose (I’m not sure why) and I’m always sure to indulge her.
She doesn’t even mind when I read her one of my gardening books as a bedtime story!
I love my little Apple Blossom with all my heart.
Smiling always,
Marzipan Scoop

Dearest Diary,
I love watching Amaranth with his youngest sisters. I can just tell he’s going to be a wonderful father someday - he’s so much like Flamingo Rose, it’s fascinating!
As for the triplets, well they seem to love their elder siblings…
Sweetness, it’s amazing watching time fly.
Happy thoughts abound,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
You can start calling this the birthday house, because that’s what it is! Amaranth, the triplets and Apple Blossom all aged up on the same day!
As for my Apple Blossom, well, she inherited the ‘Can’t Stand Art’ trait, rounding her traits out to three total. She’s also a Genius and a Loner. I’m a little worried if life’s going to be tough for her being so intelligent and loving solitude…
Yours with many slices of birthday cake,
Marzipan Scoop
So, diary, we tried again and no fires this time! Amaranth was able to have his birthday as planned with a handy back-up cake!
Raspberry was so festive, too. She’s actually excited that she won’t be the only teen in the household. I must admit having a boy teen will be a whole new experience, but I know Amaranth will do his best to help out with Apple Blossom and the triplets!
And he’s just so handsome, too. A perfect mixture of myself and Flamingo Rose, don’t you think?
Wonderfully happy,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
Fires are starting to become a habit in our home!
It was Amaranth’s birthday today and somehow his cake caught on fire! Luckily, both Raspberry and I are brave sweets and both went for the extinguishers at the same time!
Poor Amaranth. Nobody was hurt, but the cake was destroyed….
Reblog/like if your an active simblr♡
Every time I find a simblr they’ve been inactive for almost 3 months or something and I’m finding it hard to find all the active ones ;-;
Dearest Diary,
This is a BIG NEWS DAY.
It all started when I was taking out the trash this afternoon. The school bus had just turned the corner, dropping off the kids, when I KNEW it was time for the baby’s arrival!
Poor Amaranth, he’d just gotten off the bus in time to see me go into labour.
"The babies!" I called, and all he could do was scream! It was raining, too! Oh, sweetness, looking back I feel so sorry for him! He was too shocked to even ring Flamingo Rose to let him know the baby was on its way!
Luckily, I had my cell phone and was able to make the call. Since we were hoping for twins, we decided to have the baby at the hospital this time. Flamingo Rose rushed home from work and took me there as soon as he was able!
And guess what? WE HAD TRIPLETS. Not one baby, not two babies, but THREE BABIES.
We now have three little girls; Watermelon Scoop, Sweet Pea Scoop and Hibiscus Scoop. That makes six children total! Flamingo and I are more than please. And guess what? Our little family is now complete!
Extremely exhausted, times three,
Marzipan Scoop

Dearest Diary,
It was a beautiful summer’s day today. And guess what? Flamingo and I are expecting again. I’m crossing my fingers for twins - that’ll bring our family up to seven and Flamingo will have his five children finally! It’s all he’s wanted in life!
We spent the day out in the garden. Apple Blossom loved being out with her older siblings, even though Raspberry had a lot of homework to do before homecoming. Once again, having a dad that worked as a teacher came in handy when it came to homework help.
Yours in summer,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
The garden is going SO well… my newest harvest of grapes just bloomed and they are absolutely perfect! The chickens are also producing some very rare eggs! Amaranth just loves collecting them.
As for Raspberry, well I think she spotted someone she wanted to take to homecoming when she went to the bookstore… but he was in college. I told her these things happen… you just have to remind yourself that there are plenty of sweets in the sea!
Sunlight kisses,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
Now that Raspberry is a teenager, she’s able to help Flamingo Rose and I with Apple Blossom. She’s such a big help, too, and her little sister just loves her!
Raspberry even knows the correct way to put Holly Sherbet (Apple Blossom’s imaginary friend doll) in her crib!
Prouder than ever,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
It’s a daunting day when your first child becomes a teenager… but that’s what happened today! Our first born, Raspberry, aged up!
Flamingo and I were thrilled of course… and Raspberry is more beautiful than ever! But are we up to the task as parents? I mean, I don’t feel that old and I’m sure Flamingo Rose doesn’t either… now we have to worry about boys and all that worrisome stuff.
Still, Raspberry has a good head on her shoulders - I’m sure she’ll do wonderfully!
A little nervy,
Marzipan Scoop
Saturday, November 1, 2014
Dearest Diary,
We had enough money to buy a chicken coop, so guess what? We did!
The kids love it - especially Amaranth. I swear it’s so hard to get him to come inside now, he just wants to feed and feed the chooks! Just wait until there are chicks!
The fresh eggs should also bring us a little more money, too. I just hope the rooster doesn’t keep Flamingo Rose up on school nights!
Life is sweet,
Marzipan Scoop
Dearest Diary,
Apple Blossom is learning so fast thanks to daddy! Flamingo Rose is also having a ball teaching our youngest how to talk, walk and go potty!
As for Raspberry and Amaranth, they’re also learning - but this time through homework! My two little sweets are doing so well at school, too! I’m so proud!
Yours studiously,
Marzipan Scoop
